my results came as a wonderful surprise for me. i really didnt expect it to turn out like that. all i wished for (since i knew that results were going to be out on 24january) was to be able to stay in vj.
okay so ytd, met jacintha at bedok for pizza hut lunch.and den me shumin and jacintha walked to sch from bedok inter. yup and as we neared sch, we became more nervous and scared and whatever feelings there is when u know u're gonna collect an important exam results. moved up to the hall at 2pm. after all the talks on the fund raising (the bears were quite cute anw. but its 15bucks!) it was finally the moment that we dreaded or anticipated for some others. but before that, linyu ( or as it someone else. couldnt remember) told me that only 11ppl got dist for chem. woah that was quite bad i think. ha but i know i didnt do well for the chem paper, esp for the mcq paper. and someone said 90+% got dist for emath. linyu said mdm sim was very happy cox we did well for core geog. yup that was all that i heard before 2pm
okay so anw, back to the GCE olvls results talk by ms chiong, she was like trying to make us more nervous by repeating emphasising that it was her first time talking about olvl results since dr boon was somewhere in msia. so when she finally got to the point, we were all happy that AHS average is 10.98. BAND1 ! haha i guess ms chan must be very happy since she kept saying that we're like one of the few schs left in band2.
okay den it was all the records of passes and the percentage of dist for each subject. ha and the good thing was.. everyone passed core geog !! (: yup den after that was the names of those wif 9,8,7,6 a1s. and congrats to minhui !! 7a1s (: my first fren in 1A'04. yay im so happy for her.
den finally, the long awaited moment came. went up to get our results. oh and i forgot to mention how i was so shocked at how shanshan 'grew'. couldnt even recognise her when she walked in. and she looked very pale and well, she seems to look older.
ya anw, my hands were freezing cold and it was shaking when i took hold of my results. i only started looking at the paper when i went back to my seat. first thing i saw : As and two Bs. sort of relieved that i got more As than Bs. den i looked at the first subject. ENGLISH. and guess what !! A1 ! woah i was so shocked. my first a1 for english since i stepped in ahs. unbelievable.
carried on looking down the list and well, im satisfied wif my results. B for chem and combined humanities. which is kind of expected la. since i screwed those two papers. im just glad they didnt drop to a C. and and and my geog got a1 ! so freaking happy(:
so ya, my hands were still cold and freezing and shaking when i tried to open formA. and when i saw the part on L1r5, i was elated. 7 ! my lowest score ever. i was happy and relieved cox i can stay on in vj. yup :D
congrats to everyone who did well. and especially to my pri sch frens ! phyllis tay u might not be reading this but im really happy for u ! and have fun in tj okay ((: and to tingyong and all those in wsps-vs, u all damn smart la. 6points and so many a1s !
